Wow 2 days away....
I plan to do something but my son has two baseball games Saturday.
My stuff has been sitting for at least two months....
So I have no idea how it's gonna go.
Anyone else planning on making plates this year?

If I have my ducks in a row I'll take some pics at the local Mountain Mand Rendezvous. 1800's stuff everywhere.

I'm in! Looking forward to it, as always. Especially since I've been out of commission for almost 6 months.

its such a great thing that so many people are on this forum and it is just a great positive place to come. im really pretty content that i found this place, and of course the medium.

i would never have made it had the tweed suit i wanted to have made came in at too high a price:)  seriously, thats what happened. i thought, well ill have to invest the money i have saved, because ill waste it otherwise. and i had been looking into this. SO glad i didnt get the suit. :)

I am definitely planning on it. I cut a bunch of glass the other day and ran it through the dish washer. I mixed up some fresh chems yesterday for negatives and will cut a little aluminum today and finish getting every consolidated to one place ready for getting the car loaded up. I plan on spending a good part of the day trying to get an image. :)

I'm glad I checked my collodion last night.
I thought I had more than I did....But I had some quick clear ready to mix so I added it all together....
I had some whole plate glass cut but not cleaned.
I ground the edges and cleaned them up last night.
We will see what happens tomorrow.
Not even sure what I'm going to photograph but my son will be handy. ;)
I do have one idea....

I am planning on shooting plates tomorrow.  I'll have to scramble to get glass clean and cut tonight but plan on shooting tomorrow even with the forecast a bit iffy.

Was it WWPCD because of the anniversary of the patent or was it actually FSA's birthday?
Anyway, I taught a workshop and my students made some amazing images!
(coming soon)
