No book that I know of.  I just figured we should schedule 2011 so people can start making plans.

Hi all,

May 1st 2011 is ok. I'll update the website and you can all consider the web version done.

But a book is a different story. I wasn't involved with the 2010 book and I do not know what happened either.

I do know Quinn is very busy right now, so if we want a 2011 (and even a 2010) book edition, we need to organize this again. I am writing 'we' because I can help out but can not do it on my own.

Do you feel you can make this happen, please email me.

The first year's book was done on Blurb by Quinn, with Geert-Jan creating the website and him and I uploading everyone's pictures to the site.  The book proceeds went to buying a headstone for F. Archer, the wetplate inventor. Several people (I don't want to leave anyone out, so I'm not listing names) were involved with the new headstone, and running the ceremony in London.  It is a lot of work organizing an international effort this size.

Quinn told me the book template is ready and everything is under control.  For last years book, he is lacking several images that were sent in the wrong size.  If you check the wetplateday.org site, there is a page about size requirements.  I think he will be contacting those that need to resend, or posting something.... Other than that, the 2010 book is ready.

Quinn will be doing this year's book again.

Greetings Everyone,

Since I received a couple of emails about this today, I'd like to make an update.

While it's true that I'm going through a transition, I have everything completed for the 2010 book (Archer Edition). I do need everyone that wants an image in the book that's not on this screenshot (below) to email me one that is the correct size and with the correct info.

Name
Title
Location
Time
Type

10" long side - 300 dpi jpeg to wetplate@gmail.com

No profits from this book, it will be sold $1 or $2 over cost for the forum - that's it.

The 2011 book can be placed into the template and completed sometime in May. It's all in place.

I was just thinking about the book. I wanted to offer making it if no one had stepped up earlier to say they would. But it's all been covered I see; should check back here more often.. ;-)

Anyway, thank you Quinn for the effort once again and I'm looking forward to them.
