Here's my plate... It took a few days for me to get around to scanning it.

Stats: Very red, year and a half old "Old Reliable" collodion, Coffer's Positive developer, KCN fixer. It had been raining and was VERY overcast, so this was approx. 45 second exposure with my C.C. Harrison petzval.

Thank you, Vincent.
I'm going to be in Bievres in June so I hope to see you there. And I'll bring some plates with me for sure.

Wow, your portraits are always so fascinating Alexey.
Will you be coming to Bièvres and show some of your plates?

Best Regards from Paris,
Vincent

Yes, Barry, that's what will happen. There will be far too many images to publish - we'll have a plan for one per person.

I notice that some people have been submitting multiple images, so i wonder if it will be one plate chosen from each artist?  Is it better to submit a few so you can choose one?  Thanks.

Greetings - wonderful plates indeed. We'll give it another week or so and then request images to be sent in.

There are so many this year, almost 100 images right now. We're trying to sort the numbers out now. Zach Risso and I will ensure that the book is top shelf - this year, we're going larger (10x13) and with hardcover option.

We're cranking it up a notch all the way around - good stuff!

I know I post a lot on this forum -- maybe too much.  But I gotta give a shout out to the fabulous plates that have been posted up from the less-ego-centric folks than I.  here's just a few:

Lola Montserrat: SUPERB shot!  wow.  elegant. simple.  beautiful.

Joni Sternbach: (no introduction needed) FABULOUS shot!  no wonder you're a living legend.

Attila Venczel: eggy sheggy dre!!!   my hat is off to you for that great plate.

Nick Olsen: conceptually the richest plate of the lot -- BRAVO!

Rene Bolduc: that shot of the kid and the little house is just awesome -- I don't have the words to describe it.

Harry Taylor: a stronger portrait is hard to imagine!

Julie Taylor: best in show?

Chris Perez: super shot.  simple beautiful and powerful.

Mark Sink: if you do any better work with women and flowers, I'm just gonna give up.  bravo!

Steve Wilson: beautiful plate!  what more can I say?

Pat Brown: do you really hang out with that guy?  lucky bastard!!

Roxanne Guez: that is a beautiful print, and has me itching to turn the next page in my own hobby life -- thanks!

AWESOME WORK BY ALL -- just wanted to say thanks for sharing.  Ed
