   2 May we held the first WWPD in Samara (Russia).
I've provided equipment, my own darkroom and worked on preparing and developing plates, and invited professional photographers worked with models and camera.
From 10:00 to 20:00 we have made about 45 successful ambrotypes (and a dozen unsuccessful).
As models were invited everyone, participation was free. Ambrotypes was handed by models.

Curiously fact. Photographer Nikolai presented several ambrotypes, made on WWPD, in the exhibition "Intermuseum". The exhibition was visited by Dmitry Medvedev, PM of Russia, known for his passion for photography (http://government.ru/news/18455/). In this photo Dmitry hold ambrotype with couple with mustached guy.
